ARTIST PROFILE

	Smt. Kamakshi Kalyanasundaram
	Kamakshi is a Carnatic vocalist and a Recording professional. She is a disciple of Madurai Shri T.N.Seshagopalan and has been giving concerts for the past 12 years in India and USA. She is a graded artist of the All India Radio. She has performed thematic concerts, Namasankeerthanam and Jazz songs. CT Rhythms is proud to have Kamakshi in the team, Musical Melody -Jewel of Connecticut. She is a big fan of Ilayaraja. Kamakshi has earned her Master’s degree (with a Gold Medal) in Computer Science from Anna University, India and Diploma in ‘Recording Arts’ from The Hartford Conservatory, USA.
	Lavanya Sathish
	Professionally an Electronics & Communication Engineer. Extremely passionate about music & dance. An uncompromising entrenched fanatic of Ilayaraja and SPB. An astoundingly talented vocalist who possesses a varied range. A versatile voice which can deliver any genre of song in tamil, telugu & hindi languages.
	Ranjani Balakrishnan alias Ranjani
	A trained classical music and versatile singer. She has won several awards at inter-College music competitions. She’s got the swagger in her voice which will make you drift away… mix of classical, melody and kuthu.
	Indu Upadhyaya alias Indu
	Bollywood bhi hai or Kollywood padal-get ready to thak-dhina-dhin with her! She is very talented, classical based singer. She got sweet voice and she also take the total crowd by her lively performance.
	Sapna
	Fun, vivacious and we ask you to put on your dancing shoes to dance to the rhythm of Miss Sapna.
	Premkumar
	Premkumar, origin T.Nagar Madras. Grew up listening to TMS and PBS since the early 60's. Specilaises in old Sivaji, MGR, Jayashankar and Ravichandran movie songs. Sings in original scale with close resemblance to TMS and PBS style. Semi classical raga based Film songs of G Ramanathan, KV Mahadevan,Viswanathan Ramamurthy, SMS Subbiah Naidu are favourites. Also sings Hindi songs of Rafi and Kishore kumar. Simply saying he is our TMS/PBS and of course Old is Gold.
	Varun Kumar Alias Varun
	Adiradi Singer & a dancer. Young and energetic –an all –in-one Dhamakedaar performer. He can reach high pitch very easily. He is a student in UCONN doing his PhD in Food Micro Biology.
	Bharath Kumar Alias Bharath
	A budding professional in the making with natural talent for melody and rhythm. He will mesmerize you with his voice, be it a melody or a rap. He has natural reverb in his voice. This rapper is out of High school, and ready to enter college
	Sampath Narayanasamy Alias Sam
	Get ready to dance to his beat and experience the wonders of music through his voice-CT Rhythms own S.P.Balasubramaniam. He had performed stage programs with SPB, Mano, Chitra and Drummer Shivamani. Sam has been a fan of light music since childhood. Music has been an integral part of his life. He can modulate his voice to Ilayaraja, Hariharan and Jesudas as well. He has given many light music programs and fund raising events at several parts of South India in the name of “Saptha Swaram” “He is the man behind CT RHYTHMS”
